Continuing a tradition: gifting vyshyvankas to children in care institutions
Donate
OTP Bank Helps Ukraine continues one of its most vibrant traditions — gifting embroidered shirts (vyshyvankas) to children from orphanages, special schools, and family-type homes.
Vyshyvankas are considered the genetic code of the Ukrainian nation, symbolizing identity, ancestral memory, and cultural heritage. They are more than just clothing — they are protective symbols woven into patterns. This is why participants of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine charity program take particular pride in this initiative.
This year, the project will be implemented with the support of OTP Bank Helps Ukraine’s long-standing partner, the Charity Foundation “Blagomay”, as well as SOS Children’s Villages Ukraine.
