Prosthetics for our heroes

We announce the start of fundraising for prosthetics and rehabilitation of defenders of Ukraine, who left their limbs due to the war with Russia and need complex treatment and rehabilitation. The funds will be transferred to the Superhumans Center, the first clinic for prosthetics, created on the basis of a military hospital in Vynnyky (Lviv).

Aiming to raise funds, OTP Bank has already held charity auctions among bank clients and employees. With them more than UAH 3 million were collected in August 2023. Presented auction lots that helped raise funds for prosthetics included:

The national flag of Ukraine with the signature of General V. Zaluzhny, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
Saber with the personal signature of Olga Harlan, Ukrainian fencer, Olympic champion, six-time world champion and eight-time European champion;
Tennis balls and racket of Elina Svitolina, bronze medalist of the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, champion of the 2018 WTA Finals tournament;
The national flag of Ukraine with the signature of Major General Kyryl Budanov, head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine;
A silver coin with the personal signature of the head of the NBU, A. Pishny;
Ball with which Shakhtar FC won the first match of the play-off round of the UEFA Europa League in February 2023, signed by the entire team and its coach, I. Jovicevic;
T-shirts of famous football players, etc.

The auctions have been completed, but the need for financing is much greater.

So, we continue fundraising for prosthetics and rehabilitation of Ukraine`s defenders!

Superhumans Center, ultra-modern center for the rehabilitation of adults and children affected by the war, was created on the basis of the Y. Lypi Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and Repressed People in April this year and deals with prosthetics, complex reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation and psychological support of Ukrainians who suffered injuries due to the war. Every year, the center plans to receive up to 3,000 patients.
