The largest freshwater lake in Central Europe, renowned for its stunning water colours that shift from light green to turquoise and even greenish blue. This is Lake Balaton, one of Hungary’s most popular tourist destinations. This autumn, 35 Ukrainian children will travel there as part of the OTP Kids Camp programme.
Camp participants will enjoy guided tours of Budapest and the underground cave system in the town of Tapolca, a visit to the medieval Sümeg Castle, karting in Veszprém, a trip to the Balatonboglár Observation Sphere, and many other exciting activities designed to help Ukrainian children recharge, relax, and recover.
OTP Kids Camp has been held for four consecutive years. During this time, a total of 627 children have participated in the camps. Autumn sessions were introduced for the first time in 2025, and this tradition continues this year.
The initiative is jointly implemented by OTP Bank Ukraine, OTP Bank Hungary, Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia), and the Blagomay Charitable Foundation.
