High-quality, durable, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail, this is what a combat medic’s backpack is all about. It contains tourniquets, bandages, needles, splints, and other medical supplies needed to treat various types of injuries. Everything is organized for access within seconds. In the field, under fire, or during evacuation, every second counts.
To equip combat medics with these backpacks, OTP Bank and the Leleka-Ukraine Charitable Foundation have launched a charity campaign “Independent” dedicated to Ukraine’s Independence Day. The goal is to raise UAH 1.5 million, which will be transformed into life-saving medical backpacks.

About the Leleka-Ukraine Charitable Foundation
Leleka-Ukraine is a team that has been helping save the lives of military personnel and civilians in combat zones since 2014. The foundation has extensive experience in providing comprehensive medical support to Ukraine’s Defense Forces units, along with an established system for bulk procurement and rapid delivery to the most critical frontline areas.
About the Campaign
Through its OTP Bank Helps Ukraine program, OTP Bank provides systematic and comprehensive support to Ukrainians affected by the war, including children, internally displaced persons, people living with amputations, as well as hospitals and rehabilitation centers. Cooperation with the Leleka-Ukraine Charitable Foundation is a natural continuation of the Bank’s commitment to this mission.
“Our joint campaign with the Leleka-Ukraine Charitable Foundation will help direct assistance where it is needed most. We are convinced that by combining the efforts of our clients, partners, and all caring individuals, we can provide combat medics with high-quality equipment to save lives on the front line. Every contribution is a powerful expression of support and gratitude to those who are the first to help in the most difficult moments,” said Lesia Syrota, Team Leader of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine program and Director of Retail Sales and Network Management at OTP Bank.
We look forward to your support, because every donation becomes part of saving a wounded life.
