Backpacks for combat medics

Raising UAH 1.5 million for medical backpacks used to provide first aid in field conditions

High-quality, durable, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail, this is what a combat medic’s backpack is all about. It contains tourniquets, bandages, needles, splints, and other medical supplies needed to treat various types of injuries. Everything is organized for access within seconds. In the field, under fire, or during evacuation, every second counts.

To equip combat medics with these backpacks, OTP Bank and the Leleka-Ukraine Charitable Foundation have launched a charity campaign “Independent” dedicated to Ukraine’s Independence Day. The goal is to raise UAH 1.5 million, which will be transformed into life-saving medical backpacks.

You can personally contribute to saving wounded lives in several ways:

• Make a direct donation through the OTP Bank UA mobile app;
• Open a support fundraiser in the app using the “Kupa” and invite your friends, colleagues, and family members to join;
• Participate in the charity auction and bid on unique lots such as a T-shirt signed by Andriy Shevchenko, jewelry from the limited-edition “Wings” collection by designer Tetiana Chorna, an online coffee chat with actress Rymma Ziubina, and more;
• Make a charitable donation at any OTP Bank branch.

About the Leleka-Ukraine Charitable Foundation

Leleka-Ukraine is a team that has been helping save the lives of military personnel and civilians in combat zones since 2014.
