The orphanage-boarding school in the village of Stryzhavka, Vinnytsia district, is a facility where children and youth with physical and intellectual disabilities live, study and adapt to life. Currently, 158 children and adults aged 14 to 35 reside here, requiring care and comprehensive rehabilitation.
Sports activities are an essential part of the residents’ lives. The facility already has a football field and the students regularly participate in national football competitions. In 2013, football players from the Stryzhavka orphanage represented Ukraine in an international competition in Poland.
To improve the rehabilitation process and support the development of the students, it has become necessary to construct a modern outdoor sports playground at the orphanage. Such a facility will be a crucial step in promoting physical health and social adaptation for the children and youth.
OTP Bank Helps Ukraine charity program is launching a fundraising campaign to build an outdoor sports playground for the Stryzhavka orphanage. Your support will help create conditions for healthy development, rehabilitation and improved quality of life for the institution’s residents.
